That Ronnie Rogers article is an exercise in missing the point. Who takes this stuff seriously, outside of confirmed anti-Calvinists looking to perpetually re-convince themselves that the obvious drift of Scripture can't possibly be what it clearly is. And the, er, "argument" is all wrapped up in scholarly sounding theological jargon: nicely written but arguing only against a straw man. It's rather ironic that the whole thing is framed in terms of finding the other side's argument unconvincing.
