This Week in Calvinism - July 22, 2011

  • I didn't know this, but "Calvinists, in a nutshell, believe that those who have ills (sickness, lost job, whatever) 'have it coming to them.'" Forget the TULIP. This is a much more concise description of our theology.

  • I suppose J. C. Thibodaux, given his position, would have to say that Christ's sacrifice did indeed atone for the sins of every man.

  • Calvinism is not merely a soteriology.

  • The message of the resurging Calvinism.

  • Ex-Preacher Man prefers the original KJV because it doesn't use Calvinistic words like "sovereign" or "sovereignty."

  • Help your boys become Christian men.

  • Primary sources on the two wills of God.

  • It's too late to send presents, but today's my birthday. Just thought you might like to know.
