Thanks for the plug Lee. My point in my post was not that James White wants to kill Caner. I would hope not! My point was that I see White's main problem with Caner begin before this situation due to Caner's non-Calvinistic views. White, in my estimation, has had it out for Caner for quite some time. However, you are correct that I am not a Caner defender since I have only viewed it from White's blog.

I don't know how far back the conflict goes, but I first saw Caner on TV about four years ago preaching a sermon entitled "Why I Am Predestined Not to Be a Hyper-Calvinist." The problem is that he defined hyper-Calvinism in such a way that any form of Calvinism was to be considered "hyper."

I heard that sermon as well, and bowed my head saying Oy! If Calvinism is "hyper-Calvinism," then what is actual hyper-Calvinism? Oh, the humanity.
