- Rab Houston, professor of modern history at the University of St. Andrews and author of Scotland: A Very Short Introduction, isn't religious, but, according to Times Higher Education, "he believes that Christianity, and indeed Calvinism, have had a positive impact on Scotland ... Calvinism is generally considered a dour religion, but Professor Houston disputes this image, pointing out how it accommodated popular festivities."

ReplyDeleteGreetings in the name of the Lord! Thanks for posting a link to my article on Dr. Ergun Caner. You might be interested to know that Dr. Caner responded to my accusations in a comment that he posted yesterday on my blog. I think he had some good points, and I think he had some not-so-good points. At any rate, I plan to be posting a comment in response to his counterargument sometime soon; however, I don't know when.

ReplyDeleteIt's kind of funny that by this new 'nose bleed' high Calvinism, which is gaining popularity today, that even John Calvin wasn't a Calvinist.
