I just saw a struggling mother who worries about how she'll make ends meet. I saw a relieved mother who feels her struggle has just gotten easier. I never heard her say she didn't have to pay her bills, just that she won't have to fight so hard to be able to. Perhaps it is dumb to think that a president will keep his campaigning promises. All I know is that I will be praying that she sees that God is the one way to relieve all worry.
I hope that's what she meant. But based on what I've seen during this election cycle, too many have put their faith in government.
Woe to them that put their trust in the arm of flesh.
Without too getting political, many democrats believe it's April 15, and many republicans believe it's the 4th of July!
We all need to pray for the nation and the government, and the president elect.
